3. Endometriosis of Ovary

4. Severe Malnutrition or Hyperthyroidism

5. Tubal Factor Infertility: Infection and endometriosis of the tubal, causing and adhesion or obstruction which doesn’t allow the egg to come through Fallopian tubes to the place where it can be Fertilized. Uterus – Malformation of the Uterus itself, could be congenital.

TCM’s Perspective

Most patients come to TCM for help after diagnosis/tests from medical doctors. We take these facts for consideration, however we treat with our own perspectives when it comes to reproductive health.

In TCM, uterus is called House of New Life, and in order for a new life to come to House, it needs to be Warm and Good Air Flow with Windows, so to speak. It also needs to access Nutrition for New Life, so the fetus can grow until he/she comes out to this world.

In TCM, we can promote Good House/Uterus by Harmonizing Organs such as Liver, Kidney, and Spleen.

Treatments Protocols

Acupuncture/Moxibustion, Herbal Medicine: TCM Gynecology is so-called ‘Flower of TCM’. Infertility is one of the Well-Treated Conditions, which started becoming popular in Western Countries.

What a New Mother need to do.

Keep lower abdomen and feet warm: Try half-body bath. In TCM, we say Liver and Kidney are from the Same Source, and some TCM scholars consider liver and kidney as Brother-Organs. These 2 organs have a lot to do with reproductive health, and lower abdomen-back/lower limbs health have a lot to do with them. By keeping lower extremities in healthy state, one has better chance of conceiving new-borns.

Humans with sturdy lower body tend to have stronger reproductive functions. Liver Stores Blood, Kidney Stores Essence, Qi Leads the Blood, and Blood is the Mother of Qi.: Warm blood likes to go where it’s warm – Keeping one’s lower abdomen warm can bring more blood & nutrients to Uterus.

Positive mental attitude and good diet: The mother’s physical & mental health has a direct relationship with the new born’s well-being.
